AllWorship.com (http://www.AllWorship.com) has introduced a special Christmas stream for the month of December.

Visitors can now listen to commercial-free Christmas music presented in three different 90-minute streams. Each stream has 24 different songs from the leading contemporary Christian artists. These free streams are broadcast at 20 Kbps.

AllWorship.com, a not-for-profit ministry, has been broadcasting free worship music to the world since March of 2004. Thousands of listeners each day tune in to listen for free to the worship music which is played without commercials in three different formats: contemporary worship, praise & worship, and Spanish worship.

There are over 40,000 unique visitors each week on AllWorship and they come from 228 countries. Nearly half of the audience is located outside of North America. Some of the “Top 50 Cities” listening to AllWorship include Toronto, Tokyo, Lima, Halifax, Beijing, Zurich, Amsterdam, Sao Paulo, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), London and Mexico City.

“In many parts of the world, Christian music is just not available,” said Therese Romano, the station’s Program Director. “There are no Christian radio stations, Christian CDs, or, in some parts of the world, the freedom to worship Jesus Christ. AllWorship.com was started with those people in mind. They now have the ability to listen for free to Christian music in their own homes or offices. We hope this new Christmas station will enhance their enjoyment of this most blessed holiday.”

AllWorship is purely a ministry–no one working with AllWorship.com is receiving a salary. All who are involved are doing so as volunteers or are receiving a modest fee for sharing their expertise in helping provide the best possible service.

The site also provides churches and other Christian organizations with a way to have worship music on their website at no cost to that church or organization. These websites can place an AllWorship icon on their front page and visitors can click on to listen to music while never leaving that website. It’s almost like that church or Christian organization has their own music station. There are over 1500 churches that have taken advantage of this opportunity.

It’s been a long time since you’ve heard from us but we’ve got a lot to share. The band is entering a new season which is exciting for us, and we hope that means it’s an exciting time to be a Caedmon’s Call fan too! We’ve got renewed vision since finishing our deal with Essential Records, we’ve started work on a new album that we think is going to be amazing, and we’ve just relaunched our fan club, The Guild, for the 5th and final time.

Why is Guild 5 the final Guild ever? It’s simple: memberships for Guild 5 are lifetime memberships. No more yearly renewals like in the past. In previous Guilds, you’ve paid about $35 for the year and received a few goodies. With Guild 5, you pay $13.50 for a LIFETIME membership ($10 for membership, $3.50 to mail you your membership card once we have them finished). That’s it. No more membership fees ever.

What will your membership get you? Glad you asked. Your $10 entitles you to a membership card, access to the Guild Site, access to the pre-show Guild Rooms (when made available by venue), and discounts on Merch at the online Guild store.

How do you sign up? Head over to caedmonscall.com, click “Fans_The Guild”, and then click “Register Now”. Once you’ve submitted your registration info, you will be taken to the Guild Store. This is where you purchase your Lifetime Guild Membership. A lifetime Membership will automatically be placed in your shopping cart. If you’ve never purchased from our store before, you’ll need to register for a store account in addition to the registration you just completed for the Guild. Pay for your Guild 5 account with your credit card using our secure server, and your Guild account will be activated. YOUR GUILD ACCOUNT WILL NOT BE ACTIVATED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.

The answer is Yes, there will be, but since we are keeping membership fees down so low, there will be a nominal fee to purchase one when they are made available to Guild members. It will be no more, and possibly less, than $10. As for when it will be available, our guitarist/vocalist extraordinaire, Andy Osenga, explains what you can look forward to:

“I’ve got a box full of CDs and a hard-drive full of material that we are going to use for the Guild 5 CD. In addition, we are going to use outtakes and songs that don’t make the cut for this next Caedmon’s record and put them on the Guild 5 CD as well. Because of this, you’ll probably see the next Caedmon’s record come out before the Guild 5 CD does, but the Guild 5 CD won’t be too far behind and it will be worth the wait.”

So there you have it. Exciting things are on the horizon for you as fans of Caedmon’s Call. The band is as excited as it’s ever been, the Guild is back, and there’s a new record in the works. In the meantime, go over and sign up for Guild 5 and pick up some discounted merch while it’s at the special rate. Phantom Tollbooth writer, Dr. Bruce L. Thiessen, aka, Dr. BLT recently had the exciting opportunity to interview the band from which the Beatles were born: The Quarrymen. There may even be a few Beatles historians that were not aware that this band is still together, long after the Beatles broke up. But they once performed with the Beatles and were good friends of John, Paul, George and Paul. They will share their memories with Phantom Tollbooth visitors.
