At long last, Chicagoland must bid CCM native-son farewell as Nashville, Music City U.S.A. finally makes an offer he could not refuse.
John J. Thompson, president of Gyroscope Arts, Inc., has accepted a position as Creative Director at EMI CMG Publishing. He will be working with a great team of creative types and will be regularly involved with a wide array of Publishing related issues from print music to licensing to finding places for EMI CMG songs in films, television and video games.
His friends are throwing a big “Farewell” bash for the Thompson family on Saturday night, March 24th, at The Warehouse Church, 308 East Galena Blvd in Aurora, Illinois, and all are welcome! Plus, on Sunday night, March 25th, The Wayside will be doing their final Chicago area performance as residents of the great state of Illinois as they open for Christian music legend RANDY STONEHILL - also at The Warehouse!
