As a songwriter, guitarist and producer, Buddy’s been associated with Emmylou Harris, Shawn Colvin, Steve Earle, Patty Griffin, Solomon Burke and Lucinda Williams. His Solo albums have been incredibly well received - the latest, Universal United House of Prayer, was named Album of the Year at the 2005 Americana Music Awards. The songs he’s written and recorded with his enigmatic wife, Julie, stand as some of the most haunting and honest ever committed to tape. “so new, there’s still no title” was written by Julie on the night before this session and marks the first new music from the duo in over 2 years!
