Project 86 returns with their 7th installment PICKET FENCE CARTEL. This is a guitar-driven, post-hardcore triumph which is sure to delight old-school followers along with newcomers alike. Tracks such as “Destroyer” and “A John Hancock with the Safety Off” are as potent as anything the band has released to date. And “Dark Angel Dragnet” demonstrates that the band can deliver a genuine hook wihtout compromising intensity. After thirteen years as a band, P86 proves once again that they are a force to be reckoned with. Overall the band does what it does best on this release: deliver intense emotion and powerful dynamics with their one-of-a-kind sound.

STAVESACRE RETURNS!
Available only online at Zambooie.com, Stavesacre returns with a five-song EP/DVD that reunites Mark Salomon, Dirk Lemmenes, Sam West and Ryan Dennee with founding member Jeff Bellew. Also included in the package is a 45 minute DVD featuring “the story of the band, as told by the band,” which includes band footage from throughout their career.

Hi,
I wanted to share this beat box and rap holiday album with you all. During a time when some Jews refrain from listening to live music - famous Orthodox rapper Y-Love and beatbox superstar Yuri Lane (who has over 6 millions hits on youtube) create all their music non-instrumentally. The album is an all vocal hip-hop record with over seven tracks to correspond to the seven weeks of the Sefira (Passover-Shavuot). The album is amazingly musical and innovative, with a bangin intro and an outro that will make it hard to believe that Yuri Lane’s mouth wasn’t being produced by Timbaland.

The first single, “Watch” is about keeping the history of the Passover alive. Every year the Jewish Nation leaves Egypt; from exile to one step closer to redemption. G-dly things happening - Watch!

Kevin Max returns December 9th with his latest recording, CRASHING GATES – an all-new 7-song studio recording that brings Max back to the passionate rock sounds that his fans have come to expect. This will be Max’s first release on the dPulse Recordings label. “This is where THE IMPOSTER left off,” says Max about the new project. “I view this EP as a more focused collection of songs about the Apocalypse.”
Joining with his frequent guitarists Erick Cole and Cary Barlow (of Luna Halo), and producer Jonathan Smith, Max recorded CRASHING GATES during a week of late-night sessions at X Marks the Spot Studios in the Green Hills area of Nashville. “The process was interesting, more like a band than any other effort I have done, to date,” says Max. “We cut the songs, playing together, and sometimes found ourselves jamming into 10 minute long vamp sections.” Max and his band will be touring the USA and Europe in support of CRASHING GATES, including upcoming dates in San Antonio, Dallas, Little Rock, Nashville, Bakersfield and Ballymena, Northern Ireland. “Rock and roll has always been the most interesting music to me, because it is simple and yet undeniably emotional at the same time,” summarizes Max. “I am excited to see how this project connects.”

“Dial M:” Somber, yet reflective, mournful, yet hopeful, this is Martin at his sleeve-wearing finest. Feeling speaks first here above all else, but just don’t expect him to trade songwriting or sonic surprise for sentiment. And there is more than one dose of the unexpected here: instead of any sense of drive to the guitar sounds, SF59 goes the opposite direction, which proves to be a wondrous decision; Mr. M. and company rely heavily on assorted analog keys and synths, with a sprinkling of acoustic guitar. There are even tracks without any guitar at all. Consider, The sexy swing of track number three, “Concentrate.” With a beat that you cannot help but slowly sway to, and the swagger of Jason’s sultry vocal, the point is made without the need for a six-string.
“My dad passed away last year, so this record for me is a bit more personal than my records usually are….Not that I have so much to say, but I really wanted to write some songs that had some meaning to me, and in a small way to honor my old man, who I really miss.”
“Dial M” is available in stores like Best Buy or your local indie record store or online at iTunes! Sample songs from the new album at the band’s MySpace page.
Announcing THIS TIME OF YEAR EP, the brand new release from Project 86 available Tuesday, November 25th! This release is NOT in stores and is only available from the Project 86 online store or in digital format from iTunes*, Napster, Rhapsody and Amazon MP3. Five new tracks from Project 86 on this Holiday EP! This is not just a batch of Christmas covers. This is brand new music from Project 86, for you, for the holidays:
The band had this to say about the new EP:
“We wanted to get people new, original music around the holidays. We were very happy with the cover of “This Time of Year” and used that as a springboard into new songs. This isn’t a Christmas EP, though that song is a cover. This is a collection of original material based on some Holiday themes, but with a bit more scope than that. There are some ideas here musically and spiritually that can apply to the whole year…”

From www.myspace.com/thelistening: “Transmission 1 orders have surprised even the optimist in me. Our first initial shipment sold out in one weekend. Our second was only able to fill our orders through November 2nd. We apologize for the delay for those of you who have ordered Transmission 1 and were expecting it sooner. We have been taken off-guard by the orders, and were not prepared for such a warm welcome from our friends and fans.
Our next shipment from our manufacturer comes in November 27th. Envelopes are prepared and ready to be stuffed. They will ship out November 29th. And from there, we should be prepared for the Chrismas rush. Please forgive us for the inconvenience we have caused you.”
After nearly three years since the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled LP, The Listening have returned from their studio underworld with a sample of their latest musical offering. Four new songs, produced by mega-producer Tedd T. (MuteMath, Newsboys, Delirious), showcase a stronger melodic sensibility framed within the familiar dark tones which The Listening have become known for.
These new songs are simply a taste of the vast collection of material in which Wilson and his band of musical mystics have feverishly been crafting for more than two years. Nearly 30 songs are still in the making, with their full-length release slated for 2009. Transmission 1 will be a limited pressing.

Temptation Come My Way is going to be accepted by the public, there’s no doubt about that.” — HM Magazine

Pray for Decyfer Down!
Today around 4:30 PM Central time- Bloomington IL, Decyfer Down lost control of their vehicle due to ice and snow on the interstate. The vehicle then collided with a parked car sitting on the side of the road. The vehicle and trailer jack-knifed, the trailer sheared away from the van doing multiple rotations and coming to a stop blocking three lanes of I-74 the Vehicle in the meantime did a 720 degree rotation and hit a guard rail stopping it from rolling down a very steep embankment. Air bags deployed, bodies were thrown. Chris suffered several lacerations on his hands and all were severely bruised and shaken. Needless to say both vehicles in the collision were completely totaled. The female motorist in the parked car was rushed to the hospital for treatment.. she is believed to be stable. The guys are staying strong.. even though this is a huge blow.. PLEASE KEEP THEM AND ALL THEIR FAMILIES IN PRAYER!
More details to come..
The DD guys send their love and want everyone to know that they really appreciate everyone’s prayers and support.
Be blessed
The DD family pictures and more details to come only on www.myspace.com/decyferdown
